Prospect Capital Corporation Announces Public Offering of 12M Shares of Common Stock

Prospect Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEC) announced today that it is offering 12,000,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement in an underwritten public offering. Barclays Capital Inc. is acting as sole book-running manager in this offering and Prospect will grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,800,000 additional shares.
