Volkswagen January Vehicle Sales Rise 1.3%

posted a 1.3% rise in its group vehicle sales in January. Volkswagen sold 652,000 vehicles in January, versus 644,200 in the year-ago period. Volkswagen's group deliveries dropped 4.5% in China and declined 1% in European home region. Sales in its German market declined 1% to 74,100 cars. Volkswagen shares closed at $33.54 yesterday.
