A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 31 points to 12,745.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 4.90 points to 1,334.20. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 7.75 points to 2,518.00.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 0.57%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.42%, French CAC 40 index declined 0.48% and German DAX 30 index dropped 0.73%.
Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 0.0803%, China's Shanghai Composite declining 1.68% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.45%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index dropped 0.0519% and India's Sensex fell 0.48%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Citigroup downgraded Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON) from “buy” to “neutral.” The target price for Aon has been lowered from $53 to $51.
Aon shares fell 0.17% to close at $47.98 yesterday.
