Polaris Industries Inc.
PII today announced that its Board of
Directors approved a 64 percent increase in the regular quarterly cash
dividend to $0.37 per share effective in the first quarter 2012.
Scott Wine, Polaris' CEO, commented: “During calendar year 2011 our net income
increased 55 percent on 33 percent sales growth. Given this strong
performance, our solid long-term growth prospects, and our ongoing commitment
to enhancing shareholder value, for the 17^th consecutive year we are raising
our dividend payout. This percentage increase is our largest since 1995,
reflecting the momentum and potential of our business and the strength of our
balance sheet.”
