CYS Investments Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock; 25M Shares at $13.28/Share

CYS Investments, Inc. (NYSE: CYS) today announced that it priced an underwritten public offering of 25,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price per share of $13.28

The Company has granted the underwriters an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 3,750,000 shares of common stock solely to cover over-allotments. The offering is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close on February 1, 2012.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to invest in Agency RMBS and for general corporate purposes.
