China National Petroleum Lifts Production Of Crude Oil By 2%
China National Petroleum Corp lifted its production of crude oil by 2% and natural gas by 4.1% in 2011 versus a year-ago period.
CNPC produced 107.54 million metric tons of crude oil in 2011, a rise of 2.13 million tons from 2010. It produced 75.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2011, up 3 billion cubic meters versus a year-ago period.
CNPC is the parent of listed PetroChina Co (NYSE: PTR).
PTR shares gained 5.69% to close at $131.38 yesterday.
