Gambling revenue in Macau surged 25% in December y/y, according to government statistics. Macau's gambling revenue jumped 42% in 2011 to MOP267.87 billion (US$33.47 billion). Gambling revenue in the Chinese territory climbed to MOP23.61 billion in December, from MOP18.88 billion, in the year-ago period, according to data from Macau's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.
