Praxair To Buy Texas Welders Supply Company

Praxair Inc

reported that its subsidiary Praxair Distribution Inc has agreed to acquire Houston, Texas based Texas Welders Supply Company. The deal is likely to close by December 31, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions. However, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PX shares rose 0.55% to close at $105.73 yesterday.
