On the economic calendar, MBA Mortgage Applications came in at -1/2%, Durable Goods Orders came in at -0.7% versus an estimate of -1.2%, Personal Income came in at 0.4% versus an estimate of 0.3%, Personal Spending came in at 0.1% versus an estimate of 0.3%, Initial Jobless Claims came in at 393K versus an estimate of 390K, Continuing Claims came in at 3691K versus an estimate 3621K. On the commodity front, gold and silver futures traded lower today, with gold trading about 0.06% lower today. Energy futures are mixed, with crude oil down over 1.9% near the $96.16 level and gasoline futures are trading lower by about 1.8%. Natural Gas futures are higher by about 1.8% and copper futures are trading over 0.5% lower.
