The company's Bluetooth Internet Radio Car Kit impressed an independent panel at this year's Consumer Electronics Show.
As a result, Livio Radio has been named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. “The first thing people see when they walk into the largest [trade] show in North America is the CES Innovation Showcase,” said Livio Radio founder and CEO Jake Sigal. “This honor…reminds me of the feeling when my mom put an A+ paper on the refrigerator growing up. Only now, 140,000 people are in my kitchen.” Released in September, the
Bluetooth Internet Radio Car Kit
is a plug-and-play device that, as Livio Radio describes it, “brings Internet radio and lets you Play music from your iPod/iPhone/iPad to any FM car stereo.” Hands-free calling (via Bluetooth) are among some of the Kit's other features, none of which require a monthly fee. CES 2012 attendees can see Livio Radio's Kit on display at booth 2806 in North Hall when the show kicks off on January 10, 2012.
