GM Reports 10.4% Rise In October China Sales

Sales at General Motors Co

and its China joint ventures surged 10.4% y/y to 220,412 units in October. Sales of passenger cars by Shanghai GM gained 4.3% to 103,309 units. For the first 10 months of the year, sales at GM and its joint ventures came in at 2,113,274 units. GM shares dropped 1.75% to close at $23.61 on Friday.
