G20 Leaders Look to Boost Growth

With the G20 summit in full swing in Cannes, leaders have apparently devised a plan to boost IMF resources. According to the BBC, the eurozone debt crisis has been the main focus of the summit. When closing the event at a press conference, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said, "We will fight to defend Europe and the euro." According to the article, “He said the G20 had agreed to boost the resources of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and would agree on specific steps by February.” UK Prime Minister David Cameron did say that nothing had been agreed as yet. “There are agreements on both the eurozone and the IMF," he said. "The problem is not that there isn't a deal - the problem is that not all of the details... have been put in place."
