Music & Video Stores: This industry jumped 2.48% by 9:55 am. The top stock within the industry was Netflix Inc (NASDAQ: NFLX), which rose 2.2%. Netflix Inc's chief executive and co-founder Reed Hastings said that the company is separating its movie-streaming business and its DVD-rental service.
Silver: This industry rose 0.48% by 9:55 am ET. The top performer in this industry was Silver Wheaton Corp (NYSE: SLW), which gained 0.9%. SLW's trailing-twelve-month profit margin is 83.07%.
Gold: This industry moved up 0.47% by 9:55 am, with Compania Mina Buenaventura SA (NYSE: BVN) moving up 2.6% to gain the top spot. BVN's PEG ratio is 0.91.
Semiconductor - Broad Line: The industry, which gained 0.31%, saw Spire Corporation (NASDAQ: SPIR) as the top gainer. SPIR's shares rose 1.1%. Mr. Stuart Stott joined Spire Corporation as the company's Vice President of Solar Systems.
