Sprint Said to be in Discussions with Cable Companies Regarding Clearwire Buyout -Bloomberg

about a possible investment that may lead to an acquisition of Clearwire

, according to sources. Sprint would use the investment to buy the remaining shares in Clearwire it does not already own. Bill White, a spokesman for Sprint, said the company doesn't comment on rumors or speculation.
