Cody Willard Backing Ron Paul

Cody Willard, an editor at MarketWatch, posted a great opinion piece entitled "How Ron Paul can go mainstream and become our next president" on MarketWatch today. Supporters of the Texas Congressman should definitely check it out. Willard highlights the fact that the differences between Republicans and Democrats are superficial, and that the entire political system has been designed to enrich the corporate, banking, and political elite at the expense of everyone else. He writes, "I'm worried that unless we quickly stop this incredible profiteering and looting by the corporate/banking/Republican/Democrat Regime that we'll bankrupt ourselves somewhere say five to ten years out when the music stops once again and they can no longer borrow against your children's future prosperity to enrich themselves." Willard also rails against the "murderous unconstitutional wars" that have been perpetrated and advanced by both sides of the aisle. On the economic front he suggests that the fiscal and monetary policies that have been promoted by both Republicans and Democrats are "driving us into yet another huge series of bubbles." He concludes that a Ron Paul/Elizabeth Warren ticket could carry the day and get Dr. Paul elected as the next President Of The United States, something that I would sure like to see. He notes that despite the fact that Warren is viewed as a dyed in the wool liberal, she fights against the same institutions as Paul, such as the Federal Reserve and the Congressional Establishment. He writes, "imagine the passion that ticket would enlist in people. It might actually win! It'd be impossible for any true “conservative” to vote against presidential candidate, Ron Paul. And it'd be impossible for any true “liberal” to vote against vice presidential candidate, Elizabeth Warren." Here's to hoping, Cody!
