Zynga Looking to Get Goldman In The Sach

Bloomberg is reporting today that Zynga, the San Francisco-based company responsible for the web games FarmVille, CityVille and many more, is in talks to have Goldman Sachs lead it's initial public offering. As we reported on May 25, Zynga was looking to choose between Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, and it announced its decision today. Goldman Sachs is expected to make a decision today, according to the Bloomberg report, with Zynga preparing for an IPO by the end of June. There is a rush for IPOs after shares on LinkedIn doubled in the first two weeks. Groupon yesterday announced that it is looking to raise $750 million in an IPO, with Pandora Media looking to raise $123.2 million. LinkedIn, it seems, has set the bar for social media and online service businesses.
