E-Commerce Dangdang DANG is going to stop advertising on Baidu BIDU as the company is concerned over the piracy issues stemming from Baidu.
Li Guoqing, CEO of Dangdang said on his Sina Weibo microblog that Dangdang will stop all advertising on Chinese search engine Baidu from April.
Shares of Dangdang are up 31 cents to $21.45 in early Thursday trading, while shares of Baidu are up $1.68 to $122.24, a gain of 1.4%.
