TomoTherapy Incorporated TOMO shares surged 27.52% to $4.68. Accuray Inc ARAY announced its plans to buy TOMO for around $277 million in a cash and stock deal.

American Learning Corporation ALRN shares advanced 20.00% to $3.48. ALRN shares have jumped 262.50% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 16.02% in the same period.

National Security Group Inc NSEC climbed 18.10% to $14.88. NSEC shares have dropped 1.79% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 16.02% in the same period.
