Ryanair In Trouble For Charging Passengers For Boarding Passes (RYAAY)

Between the TSA nonsense, the rising fees for checked baggage, the reduction in available flights, and the prospect of smaller planes, it doesn't seem like flying can get much worse. But it can. Ryanair RYAAY has been making life miserable for some of its passengers. The airline has come under fire this week for illegally charging those passengers who fail to print their own boarding passes. The cost? €40! According to the Daily Mail, a Spanish judge has ruled that Ryanair was duty bound to print boarding passes for passengers free of charge. By charging passengers, the airline broke international law, says judge Barbara Maria Cordoba Ardao. Expensive boarding pass fees aren't the only way Ryanair plans to make extra money, however. Last year, the company announced that it would begin charging passengers to use the restroom.
