The Korean stock market opened Friday trading in negative territory, then steadily rose higher for most of the day before ending in positive territory. The Korea Composite Stock Price Index opened at 2,073.68, which was slightly below the previous trading day's close at 2,077.61. The KOSPI ended the Friday trading session up 8.59 points, or 0.41%, at 2,086.20. The KOSPI moved in a range between 2,068.66 and 2,086.20.
