Domino's Makes It Right (DPZ)

It's hard to watch TV without seeing a Domino's Pizza DPZ commercial. In the latest round of commercials where real Domino's employees, including CEO Patrick Doyle, take a look at a sample of thousands of photos submitted on ShowUsYouPizza.com. Domino's openly takes responsibility for a "dismal" pizza photograph from a man named Bryce in Byron, Minn. In the efforts to revamp it's image, Domino's took it a step further and brought a new and improved pizza to Bryce in Minn. Domino's sent it's very own Sam Fauser to Bryce's door in Byron to make things better. Armed with a personal letter from CEO Patrick Doyle, $500 in Domino's gift cards and, of course, a brand new, beautiful pizza order, Sam surprised Bryce at his door to let him know Domino's is listening. The video can be viewed here A Domino's spokesperson said, We're making important strides to keep our ears – and eyes – open to our consumers, and vowing to get better. Most companies might not show a bad product photo on a national TV ad campaign – but clearly we're a different breed. It's about accountability, transparency and making sure every customer has the greatest experience possible from New York City to Byron, Minn. Did we just fly across the country to make sure Bryce was taken care of? Oh Yes We Did. DPZ is trading slightly lower in late-day trading, to $13.97.
