are down hard in the after-hours trade after the company announced that Chief Financial Officer, Barry McCarthy would be departing. Shares of Netflix are currently lower by 3.06%, trading at $184.00. The stock closed the regular session lower by 1.89%, at $189.81. Netflix said that finance veteran David Wells would succeed McCarthy, who has expressed a desire to pursue broader executive opportunities outside the company. The change is effective December 10. Mr. McCarthy has served as CFO of Netflix since 1999 and led the company's initial public offering in 2002.
