Americans For Tax Reform's President Bashes Clinton's Tax Policies, Praises Trump's

Grover Norquist, President and Founder of Americans for Tax Reform, couldn't have made it clearer on which presidential candidate offers a superior vision for America from a tax perspective.

Speaking as a guest on CNBC, Donald Trump's plan to slash the corporate tax rate to 15 percent is a "very healthy" plan, especially when considering the US has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world.

Norquist also commented on Trump's tax plans for individuals, noting that every group of Americans will be in a better position financially under Trump's proposals.

Clinton, on the other hand, will implement a trillion dollar tax hike with no rate reductions for businesses and individuals.

Trump Hasn't Promised Not To Raise Taxes

The "Taxpayer Protection Pledge" is a document which the Americans for Tax Reform requests candidates to submit in which they commit themselves in writing to oppose all tax increases.

To the best of Norquist's knowledge, Trump has not submitted such a pledge, despite claims that the Trump campaign would do so.

"He has not made a commitment not to raise taxes," Norquist continued. "He has committed to a significant tax cut first thing which is good and healthy but he has not yet made a commitment to the American people never to raise taxes."

On the other hand, Clinton "made a commitment to raise taxes dramatically."
