Najarian Brothers Debate Yum Brands

Pete And Jon Najarian shared their views about Yum! Brands, Inc. YUM with the audience of Fast Money Halftime Report on Tuesday.

Pete Najarian thinks the stock is going to continue to move higher on the news that it's going to split its stock and take out its Chinese business. People think there is too much uncertainty and volatility in the Chinese business. On October 31, it's going to trade as a separate stock and that's a bullish catalyst for Pete Najarian. He also likes Taco Bell's potential for expansion, both domestically and globally.

The company is buying back stock and paying a dividend and he thinks it's moving in a right direction.

Jon Najarian said the stock is already up 25 percent year-to-date and he can't see the next catalyst that could push the stock higher. He is concerned about health issues and rising food and labor costs and that makes him nervous about the stock. He isn't optimistic about the split, because the owners are going to get some shares of the Chinese business, too.
