Jim Cramer Advises Viewers On Silver, Columbia Pipeline, Office Depot, Staples And General Dynamics

On CNBC's Mad Money, Jim Cramer said he would rather own gold than silver. He believes it's a good idea to have 10 percent of a portfolio invested in gold as an insurance. Cramer thinks that it's time to take profits in Columbia Pipeline Group Inc CPGX. He's still not bullish on the pipeline companies. The merger between Office Depot Inc ODP and Staples, Inc. SPLS is a hold up on a bureaucratic level, believes Cramer. Instead of buying General Dynamics Corporation GD, which has exposure to the private jet market, Cramer wants to buy Lockheed Martin Corporation LMT. He also likes Raytheon Company RTN and Northrop Grumman Corporation NOC.
