Netflix, Inc. NFLX declared its fourth-quarter results on Wednesday, surprising the Street with its robust growth. The company added more than 4.3 million subscribers in the fourth-quarter to take its total number of subscribers to 47.4 million and is on its way to cross the 60 million mark.

CNBC’s Jim Cramer was seen discussing Netflix results and comparing its growth to Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN growth.

“Let’s talk about John Blackledge at Cowen and Scott Devitt at Stifel,” Cramer said. “They came out last week when the stock was at $323 and they both said, this is going to happen, this is the breakout quarter. Cowen has done a survey of a thousand people saying there’s a dramatic increase in time spent on Netflix.”

He continued, “Stifel came out and said they could do $100 million and a lot of it is because the compelling risk would work and the international growth, both of them cited the act that Marco Polo did pretty well, I know it was critically panned.”

On Netflix CEO Reed Hastings conference call post the declaration of results, Cramer said, “This is what you do when you triumph over pessimism and you do an amazing job, now you are a little cocky, but do they not deserve to be cocky? This was a Tom Brady conference call.”

Cramer also compared Netflix’s growth with Amazon’s growth, saying, “They are talking about numbers of material global profitability in 2017. This is the opposite of Amazon. This is not willy-nilly growth for the sake of willy-nilly growth. This is willy-nilly growth for the sake of big profits and I found it very impressive.”
