CNBC Fast Money's Guy Adami spoke about recent events in Home Depot (NYSE: HD).

He said that he doesn't want to compare Target (NYSE: TGT) and Home Depot because the latter is a better operator. He explained that Target had a similar problem and although it had a lot of time to recover from the impact, it hasn't recovered at all.

Adami thinks that Home Depot was a good selling candidate before the hacking news came out, because all the good news was already priced in and the announced departure of the chairman of the board, Francis Blake, was not good for the company.

Dan Nathan believes that the price reaction on the news was pretty mild as the stock is down only two percent. He would also take profits in the stock.
