CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops From August 26
CNBC Fast Money's Guy Adami said on the show that there is a lot of news in the biotech space and ISIS Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ISIS) is right in the middle of it. He added that the short interest in the stock is decent and it could go a lot higher from here. ISIS Pharmaceuticals gained 10.77 percent Tuesday and closed at $40.01.
Dan Nathan explained that DSW (NYSE: DSW) is down 25 percent from the previous highs despite the increase of 9.24 percent on Tuesday. He thinks that it could move back to mid $30s on the continuation of enthusiasm. DSW closed at $30.99.
Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL) dropped eight percent after the earnings report and Tim Seymour thinks that the numbers were good, but around 10 percent lower than expected by the market. He owns the stock and he is staying long, but he is expecting to see some selling pressure.
Sanderson Farms (NASDAQ: SAFM) reported earnings on Tuesday and fell 5.6 percent. Brian Kelly would stay away from this stock.
