On CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops, Guy Adami said that there is a lot of positive news in the solar space.

Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) spiked 5.6 percent and Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL) jumped 4.9 percent. Between the two stocks, Adami would pick Trina Solar.

El Pollo LoCo (NASDAQ: LOCO) dropped 9.91 percent to $29.91 on a downgrade from Morgan Stanley. Brian Kelly thinks that at around $28, the stock is starting to look interesting.

Dan Nathan explained that Rackspace Hosting (NYSE: RAX) gained 2.67 percent on the news that Dan Loeb showed some interest in this name and on the announcement of a stock buyback. The company announced in May that it has hired an investment bank, which should try to find a buyer or strategic partner. Nathan added that something is going to happen in this name and suggested that investors should use a tight stop for this trade.

Tim Seymour said that BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) fell 3.75 percent on the news that the $3 billion stock buyback is not going to happen. He thinks that this should not be a reason to sell and that he is a buyer of global integrated miners.
