CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops From August 11

On CNBC's Stock Pops & Drops, Tim Seymour said that JetBlue Airways Corporation JBLU had a very important technical breakout today. The stock lagged its peers for a number of different reasons but now they are starting to kick it up, thinks Mr. Seymour. JetBlue JBLU jumped 2.44 percent Monday and closed at $11.74. Pandora Media P gained 4.23 percent and closed at $26.38. Dan Nathan explained that the stock popped on the news that Google, Amazon and other companies are looking at them as a takeout. Options volume was high in the afternoon, but it was not only short dated call buying which is usual for these situations. Some of the investors were buying the January expiration call options. Karen Finerman said that she sees some value in ADT Corp ADT. She has a long position in the stock. ADT Corp gained 2.39 percent on Monday and it closed at $36.35. Pete Najarian explained that King Digital Entertainment KING fell 5.81 percent after a downgrade by a Pacific Crest Analyst. Najarian thinks that it will be interesting to see their earnings report on Tuesday, after the close, and if the numbers are good, the stock is going back above $20. It closed the session on Monday at $18.17.
