Herbalife Shares Continue Lower In The Runup To Ackman's Presentation

Shares of Herbalife HLF began to decline on Monday as Bill Ackman appeared on CNBC for an interview about his presentation of the Pershing Square Capital Management probe into Herbalife.

In Tuesday's pre-market, the company's stock has continued down another 2.2 percent.

Ackman said the presentation will prove that Herbalife is the "largest public fraud" and that he believes the company is "clearly panicking."

The presentation was previously scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. EDT. However, upon hearing that Herbalife CFO John DeSimone will appear on CNBC for an interview prior to the presentation, Ackman rescheduled the presentation for 9:15 a.m. to coincide with the interview.

In response to Ackman's claims, Herbalife released a statement describing the positive impact its nutrition clubs have on members.
