Carl Icahn Cracks Up Crowd at Delivering Alpha (IEP)
In a face to face interview at CNBC's Delivering Alpha conference, Carl Icahn, the majority shareholder of Icahn Enterprises (NYSE: IEP), had the crowd in stitches after some of his comments.
Here are some of the more humorous highlights:
After Scott Wapner asked him why he had been so actively investing recently, Icahn stated that his wife "Wouldn't let him out of the house," followed by, "What else do I have to do?"
When asked what goes through a CEO's mind when the assistant hears "Carl Icahn on line two," he responded, "Well, I think they cancel their golf game and leave the course."
Icahn also commented that he liked Bill Ackman, saying: "I like Ackman. Any man who makes me a quarter of a billion dollars is a man I like."
