Lloyd Blankfein on CNBC; Goldman Shares at Session Lows

Goldman Sachs' GS CEO Lloyd Blankfein appeared on CNBC on Wednesday beginning at roughly 11 EST. Blankfein admitted that Goldman has made some public relations missteps in recent years and that the firm is focused on trying to revamp its image. He also addressed the fallout from the scorching op-ed from former employee Greg Smith. Blankfein said that in the wake of the resignation letter, which blasted the firm, that Goldman's clients and employees were extremely supportive of him. Currently, Goldman shares are trading down roughly 1% on the day and are sitting near session lows at $113.00.
