Jaguar Reinvents Its Flagship Sedan

A recent article by Barron's discussed Jaguar's reinvented flagship sedan, thee XJ. Jaguar launched the new sedan last May in Hollywood off the Sunset Strip. Jaguar seems to have taken a bit of a gamble with this new sedan as it does not look like the conventional conservative Jaguar XJ or years past. Barron's calls it "a cross between Star Wars and James Bond," adding its sleek like a stealth fighter. After Ford's F sell off the the brand to TATA Motors TTM, the brand has flourished. Though the ride does not lack power, as the base model boasts a five-liter V8 that takes the driver from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds while weighing in at 4,045 pounds. For as large as the car is, Barron's says the car is quite fun to drive, especially in the Mountains of Santa Monica. Customers will have to fork over $72,700 for the base model and up to $113,200 for the loaded, supercharged 510-hp verson.
