U.S. Dollar Index Little Lower, Import Prices Edge Up

The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 101.78, down 0.17. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLs) reported that import prices rose 0.2 percent in February versus a rise of 0.6 percent during January and February export prices rose 0.3 percent versus a 0.2 percent rise in January. Year over year import prices rose 4.2 percent in February versus January's 3.7 percent rise and year over year export prices were up 3.1 percent versus January's 2.3 percent rise.
