U.S. Dollar Index Trading Lower, Chicago PMI Rises

The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 100.83, down 0.29. The U.S. dollar index is trading at the session lows. The Case-Shiller December home price index showed house prices across 20 major metropolitan areas rose 5.6 percent year over year versus a 5.2 percent increase in November. On the month the Case-Shiller's 20-City Home Price Index increased 0.3 percent during December. The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Chicago PMI (purchasing managers survey) rose to 57.4 from 50.3 in January.
