USDA Export Sales; Cotton Futures Higher

The USDA reported today that cotton weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending February 16th totaled 367,200 running bales. Sales were up 65 percent from previous week and 21 percent from the four week average. There were 128,400 running bales sold for 2018. May New York Cotton is trading at 76.88, up 0.78 cents/lb. July New York Cotton is trading at 77.70, up 0.78 cents/lb.
