Live Cattle Futures Little Changed

April live cattle is trading at 116.05, down 0.45 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 106.12, down 0.45 cents/lb Live cattle futures are trading lower just after the open. Market chatter about weather and consumer demand is making the rounds. Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head, the total for last week is now 221,000 head versus a year ago at 217,000 head.
