USDA Export Sales; Corn Futures Lower

The USDA reported today that corn export sales for the week ending January 5th totaled 603,300 tonnes. Sales were up 41 percent from the previous week and down 42 percent from the four week average. There were 151,700 tonnes sold for 2018. March Corn is trading at 355 1/2, down 1 3/4 cents/bushel. May Corn is trading at 362 1/2, down 1 1/2 cent/bushel.
