USDA Export Sales; Soybean Futures Lower

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending December 1st totaled 1,461,700 tonnes. Sales were up 10 percent from the previous week and 5 percent from the four week average. There were 66,000 tonnes sold for 2017 to 2017 Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 225,400 tonnes. Sale were down 48 percent from the previous week and down 8 percent from four week average. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 13,400 tonnes. Sales were down 75 percent from the previous week and 52 percent from the four week average. January Soybeans are trading at 1040, down 9 cents /bushel. January Soymeal is trading at 318.3, down 2.1 $/ton. January Soybean Oil is trading at 37.53, down 0.42 cents/lb.
