USDA Daily Hog Slaughter; Lean Hog Futures Sharply Higher

Monday's USDA hog slaughter was 438,000 head versus a year ago at 439,000 head. February lean hogs are trading at 57.35, up 2.55 cents/lb. April lean hogs are trading at 63.67, up 2.55 cents/lb. June Lean Hogs are trading at 74.72, up 2.02 cents/lb.
