U.S. Dollar Index Higher, Consumer Confidence Rises

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.38, up 0.17. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading rangebound and in the middle of the session range. The Conference Board's reading of September Consumer Confidence rose to 104.1 versus 101.8 in August. The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond manufacturing survey for September improved to minus 8 from minus 11 in August.
