U.S. Dollar Index Trading Lower Ahead of Data

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.19, down 0.20. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading lower during late forex trading in the U.S. Market chatter about economic data, politics, global headline news and comments by policy makers has kept buyers and sellers active. Chatter about U.S. economic data due out Tuesday is starting to show up. The Case-Shiller home price index is due out Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. ET. Markit's Composite and Services PMI (purchasing managers surveys) are due out at 9:45 a.m. ET. The Conference Board is scheduled to release U.S. Consumer Confidence at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond manufacturing index is due out at 10:00 a.m. ET.
