USDA Cattle on Feed Report

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) monthly Cattle on Feed Report was released Friday after the close of livestock trading. The USDA September Cattle on Feed report showed placements were up 15.1 percent and marketings were up 17.6 percent versus a year ago. The number of cattle on feed on September 1st was up 1.5 percent from a year ago.
