Lean Hog Futures New contract Lows

October lean hogs are trading at 56.10, down 0.65 cents /lb. December lean hogs are trading at 49.77, down 0.77 cents/lb. February lean hogs are trading at 54.12, down 0.67 cents/lb. Lean hog futures fell to new contract lows after showing some gains early in the session. Market chatter about hog supplies ahead and consumer demand has kept buyers and sellers active. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Monthly Cold Storage report is due out Friday September 23rd.
