EUR/USD Lower Ahead of Data

EUR/USD is trading at 1.1165, down 0.0027. The pair is trading a little lower as overseas forex traders wind down trading for the day. Market chatter about European headline news and economic data due out Tuesday is making the rounds. Italy's ISTAT is scheduled to report release retail sales data at 4:00 a.m. ET. The European Commission is scheduled to release Business and Consumer Confidence figures for the Euro area at 5:00 a.m. ET. Germany's Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to release inflation data at 8:00 a.m. ET.
