USDA Export Sales; Soybean Futures Lower, Wheat higher

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending August 18th totaled 115,100 tonnes. Sales for 2016 to 2017 totaled 1,939,600 tonnes. Corn sales for 2015 to 2016 totaled 71,700 tonnes, sales for the next year were 1,059,900 tonnes. Wheat sales totaled 379,700 tonnes. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 64,400 tonnes. Sales for 2016 to 2017 were 149,400 tonnes. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 3,700 tonnes. September Soybeans are trading at 1024, down 6 3/4 cents/bushel, September Corn is trading 326 3/4, down 3/4 of a cent/bushel and September Chicago Wheat is trading at 406 1/4, up 2 1/4 cents/bushel.
