U.S. Dollar Index Moves Down Ahead of Data

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.35, down 0.37. The U.S. dollar index is trading choppy and a little above the session lows. Market talk about U.S. economic and global headline news has kept buyers and sellers active. The Bureau of Economic Analysis is scheduled to release second quarter gross domestic product (GDP) at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Institute for Supply Management's (ISM) Chicago purchasing managers survey (PMI) is due out at 9:45 a.m. ET. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey is set for release at 10:00 a.m. ET.
