The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.35, down 0.16. The U.S. dollar index is trading just above the session lows. Market chatter about U,S. economic data dure out the rest of the week is just beginning. Tuesday morning the Case-Shiller home price index is due out at 9:00 a.m. ET and Markit's services purchasing managers survey (PMI) is scheduled for release at 9:45 a.m. ET. The Conference Board consumer confidence survey for July is due out at 10:00 a.m. ET and the U.S. Census Bureau is scheduled to report new home sales at 10:00 a.m. ET.
