September Corn is trading at 357 1/4, up 5 cents/bushel. December Corn is trading at 365 1/4,up 5 cents/bushel.
Corn futures trading higher early Wednesday morning. Market chatter about U.S. weather for the week ahead and
yesterday's USDA crop reports has kept both buyers and sellers active.
The USDA supply and demand report showed old crop ending stocks at 1.701 billion bushels versus 1.708 billion bushels a month ago. The agency estimated that new crop ending stocks will be 2.081 billion bushels. The agency estimate for world ending corn stocks for 2015 to 2016 was 206.9 million tonnes. Brazil's corn production was 70 million tonnes versus 77.5 million a month ago. The agency estimate for world ending stocks for the 2016 to 2017 season is 208.39 million tonnes
Trading is expected to remain choppy.
